In 2021, the business entered a new chapter when Ben & Joe Muscat purchased CCL from the original owner, Graeme. With a clear vision for the future, they set out to build on the company’s strong reputation while continuing to deliver the same dependable service local businesses had come to rely on.
Since then, the business has grown to support more clients across the region, expanding its capabilities while staying true to its core values of reliability, service and strong local relationships.
Today, Central Coast Logistics continues to evolve, backed by a dedicated team and a commitment to keeping freight moving across Mackay and surrounding areas.

With extensive industry experience and a strong commitment to excellence, he oversees operations, guides the leadership team and ensures the business continues to deliver reliable, high-quality services. Ben believes innovation, integrity and customer satisfaction play a key role in strengthening the company’s reputation within the industry.
Joe Muscat
Director & Asset Manager
Joe plays a key role in managing the company’s assets. Through careful planning and ongoing monitoring, he ensures equipment and resources are well maintained and aligned with the needs of the business. His work supports the smooth running of operations across all areas.
Andrea Muscat
Accountant/Office Manager
Andrea is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, managing accounts, preparing reports and ensuring accurate record keeping. Her attention to detail and commitment to compliance help the business run efficiently and make informed financial decisions.
Joseph Muscat
Warehouse Manager
Joseph oversees afternoon and evening warehouse operations, ensuring efficient coordination of staff, accurate handling of freight and timely dispatch. By maintaining strong operational and safety standards, he helps ensure productivity remains consistent throughout the shift.
Shannon Leonard
HR/HSE Manager
Shannon supports employees and ensures workplace standards and safety are met. She manages HR functions, employee support, records, recruitment, and policy implementation, and contributes to HSE initiatives through risk assessments, compliance monitoring, training, and safety programs. Dedicated to employee wellbeing, team culture, workplace compliance, and continuous improvement.
